What is Olli?

Olli is a browser extension that helps you write, improve, shorten, translate, spell-check, extract text from images, and draft replies directly inside your browser. It also lets you save and reuse prompts and templates.

How does Olli work?

You type, paste, select, upload, or capture content, then choose an action like Improve Writing, Translate, Spell Check, OCR, or Generate Reply. Olli processes the request and shows the result for you to copy or insert.

How do I sign in?

Website sign-in is temporarily disabled. When available, you can use a supported sign-in provider or use a verification code sent to your email. Sign-in is required to claim and use free credits. Use the same Olli account on every device to keep your subscription and synced data together.

What are free credits?

New accounts get 50 one-time AI credits to try Olli's AI features after signing in. These free credits are a one-time allowance and do not renew automatically.

What happens after my free credits are used?

Credit-based AI features require available credits. Website upgrades to Olli Pro are temporarily disabled; contact support for help with an existing plan.

What do the Pro plans include?

• Pro Monthly ($3.99/month): 3,000 AI credits refreshed every month.
• Pro Yearly ($39.99/year): 3,500 AI credits refreshed every month during the paid year — and it saves $7.89 vs paying monthly.

All signed-in plans support data sync across devices. Both Pro plans remove the 25-prompt and 25-template Free limits and include the latest 100 history items. Plans renew until cancelled.

How do saved prompts and templates work?

Free accounts can use their first 25 custom prompts and first 25 custom templates. Additional items created while on Pro remain securely saved if Pro expires, but those Pro items cannot be used, inserted, or edited until Pro is restored. When an included Free item is deleted, the next oldest item moves into the included Free position. Pro includes unlimited saved prompts and templates while the subscription is active.

How much history does Olli keep?

Olli keeps your latest 100 history items on all plans.

Does Olli read every page I visit?

No. Olli is designed to process page content only when you intentionally use a feature, such as selecting text, opening the assistant, generating a reply, using OCR, or inserting output.

How do my prompts, templates, and history sync?

When you are signed in, your prompts, templates, and history sync through Olli's backend and cloud storage services so you can use them across your signed-in sessions and devices. Signing out removes the account session and cached account status, but it does not remove all locally stored prompts, templates, history, or preferences. Clearing browser extension storage or uninstalling Olli removes its local data from that device. None of these actions automatically deletes cloud-synced account data, which remains until you delete it or request account deletion.

Can I delete my data?

You can remove individual prompts, templates, or history items where Olli provides controls. To remove all local Olli data from a device, clear the extension's browser storage or uninstall it. Signing out alone does not clear all local content. To delete account data synced to Olli's backend, email support@chromextensions.com from your Olli sign-in address. See the privacy policy.

Does Olli send my text to AI providers?

Yes. When you use AI features, the needed text, image, screenshot, or context may be sent to AI providers to generate the requested result.

Is OCR always accurate?

No. OCR can miss or misread tiny, blurry, cropped, or low-contrast text. Always review extracted text before using it.

Can Olli make mistakes?

Yes. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Always review generated writing, translations, spell-check suggestions, and replies before sending or publishing.

Does Olli support screenshots?

Yes. For OCR and some reply workflows, you can capture a selected page area or upload an image. Screenshots are captured only after you choose that action.

Does Olli collect payment details?

Olli does not store full card details. Payments are processed securely by the applicable payment provider, which handles checkout, applicable sales taxes, and payment receipts.

How do I cancel Pro?

Email support@chromextensions.com from the email address connected to your Olli account and request cancellation at least 48 hours before renewal. We will verify the account, arrange cancellation at the end of the current billing period with the applicable payment provider, and email you a confirmation with the paid-through date. Pro remains active through the period you already paid for. See the cancellation & refund policy.

Does a refund cancel my subscription?

No. A refund and a subscription cancellation are separate. A full refund can remove Pro access associated with the refunded payment, but you must also cancel the subscription to prevent a future renewal. A partial refund normally leaves the subscription and Pro access active. Approved refunds are returned by the payment provider to the original payment method, subject to provider and bank processing times.

What happens if a recurring payment fails?

If the subscription becomes inactive after a recurring payment failure, Olli returns the account to Free and restores any remaining credits from the account's original one-time Free allowance. Free credits do not renew automatically. While website purchases are paused, email support@chromextensions.com for billing help.

How do templates, fields, and Notes work?

Templates can contain rich text, fillable fields, dates, choices, optional sections, and other reusable elements. Template edits save automatically. When using a template through Fast input, fill its fields in the preview before choosing Copy or Insert. Supported editors retain rich formatting; plain-text fields receive text instead. Review the result before sending.

Notes are reminders shown while editing or previewing a template. They are saved with the template but excluded from the final copied or inserted text. Olli does not attach local files for you. Sample templates can be edited, deleted, or reset from their menu.
